Article: Ten tips to improve your fitness health

Even athletes who are incredibly fit may not be really healthy. They often strike a fine balance between health and illness or injury.

1) Listen to your body. As you are training it is easy to become preoccupied with the repetitions you are doing, or the time you've been exercising. Leave your watch in the house and slow down or walk when your body hurts... more

Article: Positive affirmation, rewiring the brain

A simple definition of positive affirmation states “An affirmation is a form of autosuggestion in which a statement of a desirable intention or condition of the world or the mind is deliberately meditated on and repeated in order to implant it in the mind”.

Is this just some New Age or Far Eastern idea of meditating and planting seeds of reality disillusionment, or is the idea of affirmation, backed by Neural Science?...more

Article: Ambitious dreams bring inspiration, shooting for the moon

How plugging into your powerpack can help you achieve your goals faster ?

All of the goalgetters you will get to know on www.livemygoals.com during 2008 have a system of thinking. They are able to literally "plug into" their most resourceful state on a consistent basis. For many of us, we know bits and pieces of this thinking through the media, our education and from experience. But we fail to implement on a consistent basis! Athletes and soldiers train, actors rehearse. What do you do to ensure that you run your brain software efficiently?

The www.livemygoals.com free online goal setting and visualisation widget - called the powerpack - has been designed with this in mind.

The impossible is often the untried.

"Jim Goodwin"

Its that time of year again. It's been a real busy one for most (don't they all get busier)

As we all rush to do the important last things before we can sign off on 2007...

Take a moment.

  • What can you be grateful for this past year?
  • What could you have done better at?
  • What are you dying to do, but have not found the time to do yet?
  • Who are your supporters?
  • How can you link up with more supporters?
  • Do you have goals?
  • Are you serious about them this year?
  • Are you going to do the same things you did last year?
  • Ask yourself the question: how can I build positive habits into my life that will help me fast track my goals.

Most important.

This is a time when you can refresh and recharge yourself.

  • Do take time off with friends and family
  • Do take quite time for yourself.
  • Wake up on the first January 2008 with a renewed vigour
  • Whatever you can dream that you can do , you just have to make a start- a committment, the rest will follow.

If you want a couple of tips on how to fast track your goals this year, here is a quick way to do it.

  1. Refer someone else to www.livemygoals.com (this way you will be helping someone else and paying it forward." Thanks for that!
  2. The very next time you login, you will gain access to our free ebook worth $98 which features some tips and techniques on how to "plug in to your powerpack"
  3. You have a powerpack of skills, talents and abilities and emotions. We'll teach you how to tap into it.

  5. Create some worthy goals for 2008
  6. Create some action now.
  7. Build your personal powerpack online and share it with supporters.
  8. You will wonder why you did not do this before.

Happy Holidays, Happy New Year

Live your goals.

As you can see, I am already there!

Thanks for all your comments on the beta site. It has been fabulous. I couldn't resist sharing one of our readers stories. Her name is Caren

Caren says...

"Dwayne, the site looks really interesting. Love the upbeat, fresh way that you are pitching it too.

"We have have just bought a beach house and take possession on 25/1 so we're quite excited about that...

"Actually it was a good example of goal setting ... we decided 6 weeks ago that we wanted to buy a place in Waihi Beach, decided on our buying criteria, started the process with the goal of being in before the end of summer and bang, found what we wanted and we settle on 25 Jan. I am a firm believer that you can achieve anything you want to with a combination of focus, commitment, attitude, visualization, planning, process and the right people!!!!"

So there you have it. An every day example of how visualisation can make stuff happen.
