Oh, and also www.livemygoals.com is in live beta today, so welcome to all of our goal enthusiasts.

Tomorrow, I get to interview John Banks and report back to you.
Today, I secured agreement to create a blog series of articles on the www.nzherald.co.nz.
This is good news for all goalsetters.
The online newspaper has a great following world-wide and attracts a wide audience ready for tips and techniques on how to achieve their goals.
The concept will revolve around an informal interview Q & A style interview with "goalgetters"- people who are making stuff happen in their lives.
We will interview sports people, political figures, community leaders, business people and generally "switched on people. The series will uncover their secrets. How they create momentum in their lives and live their goals?
Uncover what drives them, their passions and how they fit it all in?
Of course. I will share these interviews with www.livemygoals.com users as well.
Watch this space.
As part of the set up of Goals Inc and www.livemygoals.com I have had the good fortune to rub shoulders with a lot of smart people. Many of them entrepreneurs.
So many of these successful entrepreneurs say the same thing...
Without fail, each of them have stated how small amounts of action every single day towards an important purpose was more important than anything else that they did.
No grand strategic document, no bolt from the sky was the main cause of their tremendous success. Just honest, "stay in tune with your customers" stuff and the ability to adapt and evolve quite quickly.
Many of them argue that , the success simply evolved out of little things "they stumbled on."
The thing is - they also persevered through times when no one "got it" They had goals , but were also determined to "see it through"
The more action you do each day, the more chance you have of stumbling into success, whether that be in your business, your career or your relationships.
For those of you who have been hiding, or like to avoid the flat screen tv in lieuw of other more physical activities, Heroes is a series that revolves around ordinary people finding that they have "special powers" I
It's growing in popularity worldwide and is many times the subject of conversation at the water cooler.
Suspend belief for a moment, but the cast consists of (amoung others):
- a guy who can hear peoples thoughts
- a girl who's body regenerates when injured
- a guy who can fly
- a guy who can freeze time
- a girl with two personalities
- a guy who can be invisable
- a guy who can "replicate / copy" any of the powers of the heroes with him
DISCLAIMER
I am not advocating more TV here but I found that the series is interesting on a number of levels:
It demonstrates :
- how ordinary people can reach inside themselves and reach for hero status
- how "a man doesn't need to have superpowers to be a hero"
- how it is possible on many levels to absorb the talents and optimism and hope of people around you in order to make a difference in your life and others.
Its entertaining, with a message.
- find the hero in you
- find the hero in people around you
- Use the learnings to make a positive difference around you.
